Coach John Martin
John began wrestling in 7th grade when Union High School in Tulsa, OK started their now nationally prestigious program.
He continued wrestling though high school often as the team captain and in his senior year, becoming Union's first state placer.
John also wrestled a semester at a prominent Junior College before chosing to focus on earning an engineering degree.
But his yearning for wrestling continued until his daughter Emily picked up the sport in 2003 at Centennial High School.
Younger daughter Stacy began wrestling three years later at Liberty High School.
Wrestling then became a year-long passion for the Martin family while traveling around the country for different events.
Now, Emily and Stacy both have outstanding wrestling scholarships in college. Not the one to be left out, wife and mother,
Jackie, also shares in the love of the sport volunteering her time and energy including serving as the Texas USA Wrestling
Womens State Director and running the head table for numerous wrestling tournaments.
