About Our Team

The Frisco Bombers/Bombers Black Wrestling Club was created in 2003 for kids in the Frisco area to experience the sport and competition of wrestling. We are committed to providing a program that helps build confidence, integrity, leadership, self respect, respect for others, and teamwork. Our talented and dedicated coaching staff teaches basic and higher level techniques needed to excel in wrestling.

The Frisco Bombers/Bombers Black Wrestling Club has produced ten State Champions and many State Runners-up. Five former Bombers have earned Frisco Independent School District (FISD) Varsity Wrestling Letters as freshmen.

The Bombers Black is a small group within the Frisco Bombers who have (1) placed at the Open State Finals, and (2) Won an Open National Tournament. The Bombers Black designation will be made by the coaches.

Rick Dellagatta, 2 Time Olympian- Freestyle Wrestling Team Member, is the head coach for the 2012-2013 season.

I do hereby give my consent to the participation in any and all activities of the current wrestling season. I do assume all of the risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of said activities, and transportation to and from the activities. I do further release, absolve indemnity, and hold harmless, the Frisco Bombers Wrestling Club, the Frisco Independent School District, the sponsors, organizers, and the coaches in case of injury to my child, and hereby waive all claims against the organizers and sponsors appointed by them. I release from any responsibility, any person transporting my child to and from any club activity. I further agree to abide by the constitution and by-laws of USA Wrestling.

Coach Chris Bourne

Chris Bourne grew up wrestling in Oklahoma. He has been a Bombers coach since 2007. Chris has also served on the Bombers board for several years, as secretary and treasurer. Currently, Chris Bourne is one of our head coaches and was the tournament director of the Frisco Bombers Open 2011.

Freestyle / Greco Training Schedule

• Practices start Monday, March 18th and end Thursday, May 16th.
• Training at Liberty High School – Mondays / Tuesdays , 5:30 - 7
• Training at Lone Star High School – Wednesdays / Thursdays, 5:30 - 7
• Depending on number of registrants practices might split according to age/experience level.

Freestyle / Greco Season fees/dues:

• Option 1 (Pay in Full) – $300 for the season, due on day of registration.
• Option 2 (2 Payments) – $150 on day of registration, then $150 on April 15th.
• Includes your TXUSA card. Tournament entry fees not included

• Please note that refunds DO NOT include any tangible items (i.e., singlets, equipment, etc).
• Before April 15th: Refund of registration fee is paid, minus a $50 processing fee.

For the local tournaments, medals are awarded for the top 3 placers in every division. Weigh-ins for youth divisions will be from 7:00 - 8:00 am. Wrestling will start at 8:30 am. Weigh-ins for Cadet, Junior, and Open will be 8:00 - 9:00 am. Wrestling begins at 10:00 am. 2012-2013 USA Wrestling cards are required. If you do not already have a card, it MUST be purchased online prior to the event at www.TheMat.com

The State Championship and the Southern Plains Region will have a different time schedule.
